Taniguchi Takao was a good baseball player when he was in junior high school, but an unfortunate indcident resulted in him breaking his finger and leaving him not being able to play baseball anymore. When he became a high school student he would always stand alone after school looking sadly at the baseball diamond. Looking at him, Aiki, the captain of the soccer club invited him to join his team. He hadn't played soccer, but he was a good athlete and soon would become a player good enough to be a chosen a regular member. However, Aiki noticed hat Takao couldn't give up his baseball dreams and he pushed Takao to join the baseball club. At first he couldn't surround to his surrounding, their easy-going attitude was far from what he liked. However, being influenced by Takao's earnestness, gradually, their attitude began to change.
